We are qualified and licensed assessors for all UK BREEAM schemes for new buildings, refurbishments and fit-outs. We have completed BREEAM Assessments at Post Construction stage for over 30 developments, and have an ongoing portfolio of projects at various stages in the design process. We have helped clients negotiate the appropriate BREEAM rating to be targeted with planning and funding bodies and have provided expert witness services to appeal the imposition of BREEAM conditions where they are unviable and inappropriate. We are qualified, licenced energy assessors and can provide SAP and SBEM calculations for all new buildings, refurbishments and extensions. We advise clients on compliance helping to find the most suitable and cost effective means to meet Part L of the building regulations. Once complete we provide the EPC and As Built documentation.

SBEM (Part L2)
We are qualified, licenced Part L energy assessors and can provide SBEM calculations for all new, extended or refurbished non-residential buildings. We advise clients on compliance helping to find the most suitable and cost effective means to meet Part L2A or 2B of the Building Regulations. Energy and sustainability statements
Many Local Planning Authorities (LPA) have planning policies that require submission of energy, sustainability or combined energy and sustainability statements/reports at the planning application stage. We are well versed with these requirements, from the London Plan, through to the smallest LPAs requirements and selection of our work in this area can be seen here.
Home Quality Mark
We are licenced to carry out Home Quality mark assessments, BRE’s assessment scheme for new residential developments. We have advised developers on compliance issues.
Code for Sustainable Homes
Although it is now defunct, many developments still have an obligation to achieve certification under the Code for Sustainable Homes. We are continuing to provide this service. Examples of our code assessments are here:
