Blewburton was appointed to provide an assessment of the design of five warehouse units for compliance with Part L of Building Regulations alongside a BREEAM New Construction (2014) assessment aiming for a ‘Very Good’ rating.
The scope of work included creating building energy models of all areas using SBEM software and carrying out iterations of the models in order to achieve compliance and building control sign-off, as well as delivering the required number of BREEAM credits. Inspection of the completed building has been undertaken to confirm Part L compliance and to enable EPCs to be generated and lodged with the Landmark Register.
