CASE STUDY – SBEM calculations; Part L2A of the Building Regulations

Warehouse units, Houndmills Trading Estate, Basingstoke
Blewburton was appointed to provide an assessment of the design of five warehouse units for compliance with Part L of Building Regulations alongside a BREEAM New Construction (2014) assessment aiming for a ‘Very Good’ rating.

CASE STUDY – Energy Statement Ahmaddiyya Muslim Community Centre, West London

Blewburton were appointed to provide an analysis of the energy demand and CO2 emissions associated with the re-development of the site to meet the requirements of the London Plan Energy Policy.
The analysis was based on SBEM outputs and methodology contained within the Non-Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide 2013 Edition for the non-domestic development and CIBSE benchmarks for the residential development.
