The Code for Sustainable Homes is an assessment process that takes a holistic approach to driving improvements in the sustainability of new housing. Blewburton has worked with the Code since its inception and were assessors for its predecessor, the Ecohomes Scheme. As such, Blewburton is very experienced in all aspects of the Code and can help developers, architects and planning consultants navigate the scheme in the most cost-effective and straightforward way.
Blewburton has delivered Code assessments for a wide range of clients from volume house builders to self-builders and for developments ranging in size from single dwellings to hundreds of units.
The Code is now being wound down and replaced by the Home Quality Mark, but can still be applied if required and we will continue to offer this service until no longer required.
