We are qualified, licenced Part L energy assessors and can provide SBEM calculations for all new, extended or refurbished non-residential buildings. We advise clients on compliance helping to find the most suitable and cost effective means to meet Part L2A or 2B of the Building Regulations. Once complete we provide the EPC and As Built documentation. Examples of some of our SBEM Parts L2A and 2B work can be found here.

Part L2B (SBEM calculations for a non-domestic extension)
Blewburton provided Part L2B of the Building Regulations assessment for a motorbike showroom extension despite this not having been a consideration during the build.

Part L2A SBEM (non-domestic new build)
This project involved supplying the final ‘As-Built’ paperwork and Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) under Part L2A of the Building Regulations assessment for a new veterinary practice building, though a SBEM calculation.

Part L1A & L2A (New build SAP and SBEM calculations and Energy Strategy)
Blewburton modelled a representative sample of units in SAP and SBEM software to develop a picture of the 71-flat site’s performance. This allowed the design team to settle on a cost effective and efficient construction.
